A complete electrical fit-out of retail premises, covering power, lighting and low-voltage systems from the distribution boards to the final fittings. The work was sequenced around the tenant's fit-out so the space could open on schedule.
The brief
Power and low-voltage systems had to be coordinated with the shopfitters and finishes, and the alarm and lighting needed to be commissioned and certified before opening.

How we did it
Coordination
We set the routes and board positions with the shopfitters so first-fix could run ahead of the finishes.
First fix
Containment, cabling and back-boxes were installed before walls and ceilings were closed up.
Second fix
Boards, luminaires, accessories and the alarm were fitted and connected.
Testing & handover
Circuits were tested and certified, the alarm commissioned, and the installation handed over for opening.
Outcome
The premises opened on time with a fully tested and certified electrical installation, energy-efficient LED lighting and a working intruder alarm.
